HELLO!

I'm Lia

Champion of simplicity, organization, and efficiency. Transforming workplaces with a seamless touch.

Growing up as a dancer, Lia trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Modern before going to theatre school. She holds a Masters of Arts in Drama from York University and has worked as a dramaturge, director, company manager and producer in the independent theatre and dance scene in Toronto since 2012. Lia has been the business manager of Pegasus Dance Studios since 2021. Lia is passionate about organization, simplicity and efficiency both in the workplace and at home. She is excited to become a Clockwork Certified Partner™ and be able to help other entrepreneurs find simplicity and efficiency in their business.

How it all started...

We started as sisters who loved to find smarter ways to do things in our lives. Then we started working together and brought that same passion for efficiency into our businesses.

From our own experiences as children of entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs ourselves, we have lived the entrepreneurial lifestyle. We've been the kids whose parents were always at work, we've also been the parents who were always at work. We've been the small business owner that thought they had to close their doors rather than balance parenthood and business ownership. We've been the people who continue to show up for work despite going through bereavement and emotional upheaval because we had no other choice. We've been there and we've seen it happen to our friends and family over and over again. Wonderful dreams given up in frustration with the constant grind, families getting the fuzzy end of the lollipop next to the business, and entrepreneurs burning themselves out because they can't see any other way of working.

Over the years, we have brought our personal love of creating organization and efficiency from our home lives (you should see our meal plans!) into our business. And now we are excited to be trained in The Clockwork System™, a proven framework that helps entrepreneurs get out of the way so their business can run efficiently with or without them.

Get results like these

You need to get your team on board with this, and you will feel an instant weight come off of you as an entrepreneur.

The lens of looking through better efficiency rather than productivity was paramount in clockworking my business.

[Clockwork] really allows you to get back to what you do best as a business and really thrive doing that work instead of getting lost in all the details and all the weeds.

Some fun facts about us...

Growing up with a dance studio owner for a mother, Briar spent a lot of her time in class. Her favourite styles were tap and hip hop.

Lia was only 1 years old when the family dance studio was opened, so her entire childhood was spent there. Her favourite dance styles were tap and contemporary.

Briar and Lia have another sister (plot twist!). Lara is the oldest, Briar is the middle child, and Lia is the baby of the family.

Dancing goes way back for Briar and Lia's family. In fact, their grandparents met during a ballroom dance class their grandmother was teaching.

Briar grew up not just in the dance studio, but also in the Tae Kwon Do dojo where she attained her second degree black belt. So, yes, she would win in a fight.*

Lia spent her time outside of the dance studio in the theatre. She has a Masters degree in drama. So, yes, she would win in a Shakespeare quote-off.*

*We cannot guarantee these claims, nor do we want to. So please don't challenge us to a fight or a Shakespeare quote-off.
